On our first full day in Cuba, we woke up bright and early to go on a tour of the beautiful capital, Havana. We started at Revolution Square and then went on a walking tour of old Havana. After a lovely visit, and maybe some shopping, at an artisan's market, we returned to the hotel for lunch and to prepare for the afternoon.
As soon as we were all ready, we got on the bus and headed to the Basilica to have a workshop with Alina and her choir, Coralina. The choir sang beautifully and we gave them all the donations we brought for their families. They were very grateful and we were happy to help.
After our exciting rehearsal we went to CafeTV for dinner with Alina and her choir. The food was delicious and after supper everyone got up and danced with the restaurant staff to Cuban music. After a long and eventful day, we headed back to the hotel and immediately fell asleep (hehe).

ps. we are still trying to figure out how to upload all the beautiful photos we have taken. We do not have wireless and we are unable to plug our camera into the hotel computer. Stay tuned!
